Conference FAQs
Registering and preparing to send your participant to a conference can be stressful! We have compiled a list of Frequently Asked Questions from previous conferences to clear up any confusion.

Do I drop off my student at every event throughout the weekend?
No! Parents drop off their student at participant check-in, and they are entirely in our care until check-out on Sunday. If you would like your student to stay with you during the night or take them out of conference, you will need to check them out with our registration coordinator.
Are parents allowed to stay in the hotel rooms?
No, participants will be staying in hotel rooms with other participants of the same gender.
What is the parents portion of the conference?
After parents and guardians check-in their student, they are invited to attend a Texas A&M College Fair, Admissions and Financial Aid presentation, Housing presentation, and a Parents Panel. Parents Panel is made up of current students who will answer questions about student life, dorms, transportation, etc.
Are parent sports tickets included in the price?
No, the price of conference registration only includes that student's sports ticket, hotel stay, transportation, merchandise, etc.
If I don't receive any scholarships, am I still able to attend the conference?
Of course! If you did not receive a scholarship and did not get a confirmation email saying you were registered, then you are currently on our waitlist. Once spots become available, you will be notified when you can pay the balance and secure your spot at conference.
How do I reset my password to be able to get into my Circuitree account?

Where will I be staying?
This year, Whoopin' Weekend 2024 participants and hall monitors will be staying at the Cambridge Hall in College Station. (501 University Oaks Blvd, College Station, TX 77840)
Can I room with other students attending conference?
There will be a question during registration where you can request a certain roommate. However, it is not guaranteed.
Is transportation included from the airport to conference check-in/check-out?
No. Unfortunately, travel arrangements from the airport for check-in/check-out are not included.
Can I get an excused absence note for my high school saying I went on a college visit?
Yes, of course! We provide a signed note for you to take back to your high school.
Are students ever by themselves at conference?
No, students are always with a staff member (aside from when they are sleeping) as per University guidelines.
